Sri Lanka cricket board has confirmed that they will going to play a series in Pakistan September this year 2017. After the attack on Sri Lanka in 2009 , Pakistan during the tour. Pakistan who recently becomes the new champions trophy winners get big support from worldwide cricket fans. Because they performed mostly outside of their homeland and in the end they have defeated one of the best cricket teams in Champions Trophy 2017 this year.
International Cricket doors looks like open for Pakistan, which is a good sign that cricket is coming back to Lahore, Karachi and Faislabad. The first team that announce to tour Pakistan is Sri Lanka, their cricket board has confirmed the schedules the series will be held in September which include T20 matches, Test Series and ODI match.

The schedules were released by PCB but what fans are expecting it looks like they have to wait some more time to see a full cricket series in Pakistan. There is only one T20 match that is schedule for Pakistan vs Sri Lanka series and it will be played on 29th October at (Qaddafi Stadium, Lahore). But if every thing goes well hopefully Pakistan nation get more matches to watch in their homeland.
Najam Sethi the new cricket board chairman of PCB, hopeful that more teams are looking to make tour to Pakistan in upcoming month if every thing goes well with security concerns in Pakistan. That means Pakistan cricket fans will see their favorite playing at home. There are rumors on-going Pakistan and India are in talks to play cricket series this year or in upcoming year but these are still rumors not any confirmation yet made by the PCB officials.
The Sri Lanka board has already approved, visit after a security assessment in Pakistan. Which means there will be three or two T20 matches will be played during the series, the venues are not yet confirmed but one match surely will be played in Lahore this year.
