Australian players paid according to a shared revenue model. That means If (Cricket Australia) make less money then 2016, it will pay less to its players in 2017. But in case if (Cricket Australia) make more money in year 2017, it will pay more money to the players more then 2016. So players income depends on how successful cricket is in Australia. Players who earn $199,000 in 2016-17 will make $235,000 by (2021-22). A bit increase in the salaries of the players.
Extra Bonus Money For Australian Cricketers:
Players get extra bonus money when they win any (ICC trophy or championship). In 2015, When Australia defeated India in the finals. Each player of the squad make ($365,000) bonus money.
