NASCAR Pit Crew Members Salaries


NASCAR is one of the leading sports racing league . But how much do they pit crew members earn. How they help a driver to get lead in the race with their skills of tire changing and instructions . There are three different categories of race league take place every year. Which include (Camping World Truck Series , XFINITY Series , and Sprint Cup Series) . In each of these league the earning’s of the pit crew members were different .

Here you will get more relevant information how much money they made from each race and annually. The most earning person in the pit team is (Crew Chief) who leads his squad and makes decision when the right time to make changes to the car during the race and inform the driver .

Crew Chief:
The main person who controls all the activities of the pit crew members. He is the first person who is in contact with driver during the race. Its his job to let driver know when the right time to take pit stop.

Spotter:
The main duty of the spotter is to let the driver know what is going on the track . He take position on the top grand stands or other supporting buildings to checkout the entire track.

Jackman:
If we say he is the main part of the pit stop during the race then it might not be the wrong . Because he rise the both sides of the car with using of a 22-pound (10 kg) jack and he signals the driver during the pit stop when to leave and his job is complete.

Tire Changers:
The two tire changers work as fast as they can remove the old tires and changed them to the new one once the car make entrance towards the pit. The change tires with carefully according to the weather situation and track response. Tire changers well aware about soft, hard and wet tires.

Fueler:
His duty is to complete the fuel tank as much as needed during the race . He is acquired with the special gas tank with which he finished
