Its not an easy task to score goal against a National side where players at defensive position way stronger. But there are some center forwards and midfielders who sets the record of most goals in Fifa World Cup. The list is lead by the German national footballer (Miroslav Klose) who played 24 matches during his international career with Germany team in World Cup and scored 16 goals.

The other player who scored most goals in fifa world cup Brazilian striker (Ronaldo) who scored 19 goals for his team in all 14 world cup match appearances. Just Fontaine sets the record of most goals in a single world cup, he played only 6 matches and scored 13 goals for France in all those appearances.

Miroslav Klose is playing world cup matches since 2002 after turning professional footballer for the team of Germany in 2002. He is one of the creative strikers for Germany. He is the highest goal scorer in Fifa World Cup 2006, where he managed to score 5 goals in all 7 matches.

#2: Ronaldo :(15 Goals – 19 Matches) :Brazil (1994-2006)

Ronaldo is among most successful footballers, he won the Fifa world cup with Brazil team, in 2002 world cup he scored most goals in the tournament. He won the gold boot award in 2002 world cup after scoring 6 goals in 7 matches for Brazil.

#3: Gerd Müller :(14 Goals – 13 Matches) :West Germany (1970-1974)

Gerd Müller played two world cups with West Germany football team during 1970-74. He scored 10 goals for the West Germany in 6 matches during 1970 world cup and become the highest goal scorer of the tournament. Later in 1974 he only managed to score 4 goals in 7 matches.

#4:Justin Fontaine:(13 Goals – 6 Matches) :France (1958)

Just Fontaine one of the greatest strikers of all time, he played only one world cup for the team of France and scored 13 goals in 6 matches with goal scoring ratio (2.17) highest ever by any footballer in Fifa world cup.
